Nothing beats an ATV sprayer for accessibility and coverage. This small but mighty unit sprays up to 30’ wide with its boomless nozzle system. Having no booms means better coverage and no risk of catching on buildings or equipment.

Acreages Spraying

Spraying acreages can be challenging; often requiring both broadcast spraying in large open areas and hand spraying around desirable landscape features. Add to that, the need for careful herbicide choices for use around livestock, water sources, crops, and gardens; it is recommended to use the services of a professional pesticide applicator.

Tips to help keep your yard or site weed free

  • The best method of weed control is prevention!

  • Support the desirable vegetation. Strong healthy turf or native vegetation can out-compete weeds.

  • Avoid compaction and soil disturbance where possible. If your lawn has heavy traffic, consider installing a pathway or non-organic surface.

  • Mowing weeds before they go to seed is a great method of controlling weeds, especially annuals.

  • For industrial sites, be sure to remove soil and vegetation from your equipment at weed-infested sites, to avoid contaminating clean sites.

  • Know your plants so that you are able to readily identify the good from the bad. The presence of certain weeds is against the law.
